Moving Again

well, I'm planning on moving again at teh end of the month. which is in 3 days, but we are moving on monday because we are too busy on tues and wed. still haven't found house yet, but we're relying on God to provide us with the perfect place.


i have played about 18hours of poker this month and made $1800 which was pretty good for .5/1 NL and some 1/2NL.
I have also bought a car (1992 civic hatchback with a z6 engine in awesome condition)and loving it so far. I am paying 3x less for the same mileage that I get with the IS300.

I really feel like things are goign to turnaround for me right now.
the enemy is attacking me hard, which means i am so close to breakthrough.
i rebuke the devil for what you try to put me through, and trying to get me to do things i used to do

God is protecting me and giving me the strength to overcome all obstacles.

new bag

I bought this today with my gift card because I desperately needed a nice camera bag. I had a really crappy one that cost me 15 dollars or something that i bought last year.





next on my list is the 35mm f/1.8G lens
i read a ton of reviews on the 50mm vs 35mm lens and the 35mm one fits my style of shooting a lot more. this will be my main street photography lens and hopefully i can pick up the 85mm 1.8 for shooting portraits next month.

missing money

i logged on to my playnow.com account and noticed my balance was a little off. I didn't care at first because I had a losing session yesterday, but didn't think it was THAT bad. I checked my pokertracker results and sure enough, about $300 was missing from my account. i checked with support, and they found out $225 was left of the table and was not put back into my account... wtf.. now i am wondering how many other times they have messed up. and im 99% sure theres another 100 dollars floating around somewhere....
this site is so fricken sketchy. BC government FTL

new toy

my girlfriend's birthday is just around the corner and I've decided to get her this watch:
She hinted to me to get her a watch awhile back... so she'd better like it... ::squint::

I was looking through the futureshop website today (I have a $100 gift card from redeeming some points) and found something to get myself: A 50mm f/1.8 lens for street photography.
i can finally shoot some decent pics at night time now! chyeaah!

lolinternets

spent the whole day reading about popular bloggers and their success stories today, and I feel pretty motivated right now. I came up with some ideas for some online sites and registered 3 domains in the last couple days. I can't wait to get started on them.

I've decided to create a photography website just for kicks because I love taking pictures. I am going to use that site as a test pilot and mess around with it. I think i'll register another domain soon because I want to start some sort of a forum too. it would be sick if i can create a super addicting forum with a ton of members... that would be my ultimate goal

life update

holy smokes, I completely forgot about this blog until today...

Well, since my last downswing, I haven't been making anything from poker at all. I don't think I have played more than 100 hours since my last post.

I seriously cannot believe it has only been 1 year! honestly it feels like 2 years at least since I had a good winning month of poker. I have been keeping myself occupied with real estate courses and have just finished my CFA exam. I've since moved out of my parent's place and have been getting blessed a lot spiritually. God is so good :)

for my next update, I'll post some pics that I took from the past few months or so. Just because I just started to get more into photography.
